This 55LEGAL Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) provides you with information on the use of your personal data in all 55LEGAL activities.
To operate effectively and provide you with the best services, 55LEGAL collects data, especially about you as an individual, i.e. your personal data. Acting as data controllers or data processors of your personal data, we are highly committed to safeguarding your privacy. We have developed this Policy that covers how we may collect, use, share, protect and retain your information and your rights regarding it.
55LEGAL is your legal counsel or is intended to become your legal counsel to assist you or, where appropriate, to provide legal services for your benefit or that of third parties. In order to carry out our mission, we are required to collect your personal data.

55LEGAL has the right to disclose and transfer personal data to other companies/entities or to subcontractors located inside or outside the European Economic Area when this is necessary for the provision of services.
55LEGAL expressly has the right to disclose and transfer personal data, without this list being exhaustive, to courts, bailiffs and notaries, banking institutions, auditors, accountants, notaries, experts, other legal advisors, opposing parties but also to administrative, IT, payment, data processing, collection and other service providers it uses. 55LEGAL is also authorized to share personal data with competent Luxembourg or foreign authorities to fulfill its legal obligations.
Your data is processed at the premises of 55LEGAL. For reasons of security and backup of your data, they are also transferred to an approved Digitalisation and Conservation Service Provider located in Luxembourg and in Europe, which is also in charge of their backup. For these transfers, 55LEGAL has put in place binding agreements in compliance with the GDPR and applicable laws.
If 55LEGAL merges with another company or entity, of whatsoever form, or is partially or entirely acquired by such company or entity, the acquiring company or entity shall have access to all your personal data in 55LEGAL’s possession. Without prejudice to the right to update the present Policy, the acquiring company or entity shall be bound by this Policy.
